Victoria Dexter, 22, was shot twice as she slept in
downtown Dallas Thursday. One bullet, probably
randomly fired from a vehicle, passed through Dexter's
back and womb and struck her unborn child - named Ryan
Christopher - in the head. Dexter remains in stable
condition with non-fatal wounds. The father, Santos
Paris, planned the baby's funeral.

Allissa Pugh, 28, of Milford, MA entered a not guilty
plea to charges of involuntary manslaughter and

A malpractice suit filed this week by the victim's
mother, Aletheia Meloncon, against a Planned
Parenthood abortion mill and a Riverside County
hospital alleges that Edrica Goode, 21, went to a
Planned Parenthood abortion mill in Riverside, CA for
an abortion Jan. 31, and that a nurse inserted
cervical dilators, used to gradually expand the cervix
in preparation for second-trimester abortions, despite
the fact that Goode had a vaginal infection. The
infection spread, causing Goode's death on Feb. 14,
after being taken confused and disoriented to
Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno
Valley on Feb. 4. Goode had concealed the attempted
abortion from her mother, who was unable to provide
the information about the botched abortion to the
medical center staff. The seaweed sticks, which were
supposed to be removed after 1 or 2 days, were not
removed until Feb. 13, when Goode suffered a
miscarriage, and died of toxic shock syndrome the next
day.
Goode's is the third known death among Planned
Parenthood victims in Californicatia in the last four
years. Holly Patterson, 18, of Livermore, CA died of
an infection after an RU-486 abortion in 2003. Diana
Lopez, 25, of Huntington Park, CA bled to death a year
earlier after her cervix was punctured during the
killing.

Dozens of youth from states across the country each
gave a 5-7 minute speech on pro-life topics ranging

National Right to Life convention in Kansas City, MO.
High school senior Megan Kennedy from Hoyt, KS came in
first place at this year's contest with a well-written

The promising treatment right now for unethical actor
Michael Fox's Parkinson's disease, and that of half a
million other Parkinson's patients, is gene therapy. A
tube about the width of a hair is threaded through a
hole about the size of a quarter at the top of the
skull. The tube delivers a dose of a virus engineered
to ferry copies of a gene into cells of a brain region
called the subthalamic nucleus. The gene copies enable
the cells to pump out more GABA, a brain chemical
lacking in Parkinson's patients. Parkinson's sufferer
Nathan Klein, 59, of Port Washington, NY received this
treatment in 2003, and his symptoms have almost
entirely disappeared, with no side effects. Others are
also improved.
Useless, unethical embryonic stem cell research has
never evidenced any likelihood of treatment or cure
for Parkinson's disease, and will not be ready for
human trials for decades, if ever.
[Uhhh, well then, where is the clamor in Congress for
gene therapy research, in addition to successful adult
stem cell research, with its dozens of cures? Is this
a Washington DC game, or does anyone in federal
government besides President Bush and a handful of
stubborn pro-lifers really care about curing people?
Does the ESCR lobby consider crippled and suffering
victims of disease and injury to be dupes for their
profit? Why isn't Mr. Fox saying anything about gene

Researchers in Italy say they've found a way to use
adult stem cells in hair follicles to grow skin for
grafting, as in the treatment of burns, varicose
ulcers and after the surgical removal of skin cancers.

In the first trial of its kind in the world, 60
patients who have recently suffered a major heart
attack will be injected with selected adult stem cells
from their own bone marrow during routine coronary
bypass surgery in Britain. This double blind
placebo-controlled human trial at the University of
Bristol will test whether the adult stem cells will
repair heart muscle cells damaged by the heart attack.
Normally, in 3-6 months after coronary bypass surgery
to improve blood supply to the heart, 20% of patients
develop a thinning of the walls of the heart, which in
its most extreme form, can lead to congestive heart
failure.
Meanwhile, useless, unethical embryonic stem cell
research will not be stable or safe enough for human
trials for decades, if ever.

Troy, KS Police Chief Daren Davies said he contacted
the Kansas Bureau of Investigation to begin the
necessary crime scene work at the apartment where a
dead baby was found Wednesday. A woman referred to as
"Pebbles" in the apartment appeared to have been
pregnant. But one neighbor said the woman denied being
pregnant as recently as Tuesday.

A baby girl found on an Ohio doorstep does not belong
to a missing pregnant woman, the Wayne County
Sheriff's Department said Friday. The baby, now doing
quite well, was discovered about 45 miles from the
home of Jessie Davis, who was nine months pregnant
with a girl when she disappeared last week. A woman
who said she concealed her pregnancy from her family
admitted leaving the newborn on the doorstep, shortly
after giving birth in a hotel. The search for Jessie
Davis is ongoing.

A four-pound baby, born at about 36 weeks, was
abandoned on a bench in front of Forsyth Medical
Center in North Carolina early Friday morning. The
baby is reportedly in good condition, and is currently

Claudia Cortes, 23, of Houston, TX, was charged with
capital murder Wednesday in the June 10 strangling of
her newborn daughter. Police found the tiny body in
her bedroom closet, strangled with a piece of clothing
and stuffed into a bag. Cortes initially lied when
given medical treatment, claiming she had miscarried a
pregnancy of 2 months, when in fact, the baby was born
full-term and alive.

Maritza Gonzalez, 20, of Belize, Central America,
pleaded guilty to the crime of concealment of the body
of a child. She was fined $500 by the Supreme Court,
payable by August 15. The badly decomposed corpse of
the newborn child was found in April, 2006, wrapped in
a towel, stuffed in a box, and then placed in a
plastic bag. The baby had been born alive, and she had
originally been charged with manslaughter.

There is some possibility that in a few years a
vaccine will be available to stop the progression of
Alzheimer's Disease into the final stages. The
vaccine, CAD106, is in human trials now involving 60
elderly Swedish patients. Early tests showed the
vaccine is highly effective at breaking up the sticky
protein that clogs the brain in Alzheimer's,
destroying vital connections between brain cells. It
is not a cure, but appears to be a successful
treatment in stopping the progress of the debilitating
disease. 25 million people worldwide suffer from
Alzheimer's.
As we gradually see the flagship diseases of the
embryonic stem cell lobby like Alzheimer's,
Parkinson's, diabetes, and MS being cured or
successfully treated this year and in the next few
years by other ethical means like adult stem cells,
umbilical cord blood, bone marrow, gene therapy, and
new vaccines, can we expect the greed-driven political
blocs to stop trying to funnel our tax money into
useless, unethical, needless embryonic stem cell
research?
NO. The motive was always taxpayer money for kickbacks
from new stem cell companies and patents on the
manufacture of human life for destructive testing, not
cures.

NJ, who gave live birth during her 1997 prom in a
toilet, then strangled her newborn son and threw him

in prison of a 15-year sentence.)

year. Planned Parenthood has made a profit for 34
years is a row, but last year, the profits were down

From the analysis of all published data on the
subject, from the mid-1990s to last year, from France
to Finland, Australia to Germany, we can say that
abortion almost certainly produces a doubling in the
premature birth rate, according to Professor Byron
Colhoun, the joint head of the department of
obstetrics and gynecology at West Virginia University.
There are real risks of handicap, of blindness or
deafness, but chiefly of cerebral palsy, especially if
the baby is born at 28 weeks or before. All these
risks and medical problems also lead to an increase in
the infant mortality rate during the first year of
life. This shows up markedly in the black population,
where the abortion rate and premature birth rate are 3
times higher.
The premature birth rate has risen steadily in the
general population, to now 1 in 8 births, as more and
more mothers of childbearing age have now been
physically, emotionally, and psychologically scarred
by previous abortion.
But the abortion lobby will never consent to requiring
these risks to be reported to mothers in regulated
informed consent for abortion mills. It might cut into
profits.

Dr. Paul McHugh, of Boston, MA, the leading witness in
the charges against abortionist quack George R.
Tiller, broke his six months of silence Monday by
granting an on camera interview arranged by Women
Influencing America. In his opinion, the abortion
records used as evidence against Tiller were
inadequate for a psychiatric diagnosis to support a
mental health exception for post-viable abortions, and
nothing indicated any substantial and irreversible
risk in the pregnancies to justify any post-viable
abortions. [Tiller is a quack, with no formal medical
certification, with not even a board-certified OB/GYN,
with no qualification whatsoever to diagnose any
mental problems, while his abortion mill butchery
CAUSES severe mental health problems for years in
mothers.]
In short - viable babies were illegally killed for
convenience in Tiller's abortion mill, without any
legal justification.
AG Paul Morrison's "investigation" has never even
contacted Dr. McHugh, the leading expert medical
witness in the case.
Dr. McHugh will be involved in a panel discussion,
hosted by Women Influencing America, on June 12, at
the Double Tree Hotel, Overland Park Kansas at 7:00pm.

fiscal year, while the number of abortions Planned
Parenthood committed rose to 264,943, generating one

Parents in the Manchester, NH school district are
outraged after learning that the YMCA, in partnership
with the school district, took a group of 41 junior
high school students to a Planned Parenthood abortion
mill.
Mayor Frank Guinta, chairman of the city school board,
and Assistant Superintendent of Schools Frank Bass
promised never to send young schoolchildren on
abortion mill tours again.

Meanwhile, a bill on Missouri Gov. Blunt's desk

In early January, a team of scientists from Wake
Forest University and Harvard Medical School announced
a historical breakthrough: a new readily available
source of life saving stem cells, ethically derived
exclusively from amniotic fluid. Amniotic fluid stem
cells are pluripotent, able to transform into fully
grown cells representing each of the three major kinds
of tissues found in the body.
In April, the Journal of American Medical Association
reported that ethically-obtained umbilical cord blood
stem cell transplantation into 15 patients recently
diagnosed with Type I Diabetes had resulted in 13
becoming completely insulin free.
Richard Doerflinger of the US Conference of Catholic
Bishops compiled comprehensive list entitled "New
Reasons for Hope," 111 recent developments in adult
stem cell research and other alternatives to embryo
destroying stem cell research published since
Congress's stem cell vote in 2006, filled with ethical
scientific breakthroughs and cures.
Every week now, medical journals, science periodicals
as well as the mainstream media announce and report on
yet another promising advance in adult stem cell
research and clinical application.
Meanwhile, useless, unethical embryonic stem cell
research causes tumors, carries an enormous proclivity
for rejection, and requires the killing of human
embryos.
The U.S. House and Senate voted to force taxpayer
funding for useless, unethical, needless embryonic
stem cell research anyway, out of self-important
greed, media hype, and, of course, to cater to the
abortion lobby.
There are NO CURES in ESCR.

A second Los Angeles judge threw out the murder charge
against a suspended USC student accused of killing her
newborn child on Tuesday. Holly Ashcraft, a
22-year-old architecture major who has stood trial for
two years, still faces a June 27 hearing for one
charge of child abuse. Ashcraft was arrested in
October 2005 after her born-alive newborn son was
found dead by a garbage bin. Judge David Wesley
dismissed the murder charge and imposed a lesser
charge of involuntary manslaughter, and Judge Samuel
Mayerson went along with it. Prosecuting Deputy
District Attorney Franco Barrata requested the case to
be dismissed and refiled the murder charge. Judge
Mayerson ruled the case had been dismissed twice and
therefore couldn't proceed.
Holly Ascraft now faces merely a child abuse charge,
which might not hold up either, as more American
newborn babies die in garbage bins, while the shysters
get richer.
Ashcraft is also suspected of previously killing and
disposing of another of her babies in 2004, but
without sufficient evidence for more charges.

Professor Karen Brøndum-Nielsen, of the Kennedy
Institute, Glostrup, Denmark told the annual
conference of the European Society of Human Genetics
Monday that non-invasive screening of pregnant women
with ultrasound early in pregnancy, combined with
maternal blood analysis, has reduced the number of
children born in Denmark with Down Syndrome by 50%.
This is not a cure of modern science. Up to 90% of the
babies identified by screening at 11-14 weeks
gestation as at risk for Down Syndrome are killed in

treatment or special care, which would be too much

Shawn Michael Mohan, 20, of St. Charles, MO pleaded
guilty Wednesday to endangering the welfare of a child
when he shot his 12-day-old son with a pellet gun - 5
times. The child suffered circular-shaped bruises to
his face, upper left arm, hand, foot, hip and
buttocks.
Mr. Mohan had claimed that the shooting was
accidental.
Mohan had been on probation because of other charge
involving a serious head injury that left his first
son unresponsive when he was 3 months old. That son
recovered, but Mohan's probation was revoked in favor
of a 4-year sentence, and another possible 15-year
sentence is pending.

The City Council proclaimed Philadelphia a "Pro-Choice
City," which supports "women's reproductive rights and
freedom" and defends "the right to choose a legal and
safe abortion as a final but critical option for
women."
Planned Parenthood, America's busiest abortionist,
drafted the resolution for their baby-hating puppet
council member Blondell Reynolds Brown, who sponsored
the resolution in spite of significant opposition and
backlash.

Joel Robison, 27, of San Bruno, CA was sentenced to
three years probation Thursday after pleading no
contest to felony attempted commercial burglary and
misdemeanor possession of a loaded firearm in public.
Mr. Robison had originally been charged with attempted
murder by San Mateo County DA Steve Wagstaffe, for
carrying a firearm to the abortion mill where an
abortionist quack had brutally killed his baby. He did
not carry the gun into the abortion mill, however, and
turned himself in to a hospital for treatment of
depression the next day, where the staff promptly had
him jailed without bail.

In the Californicatia Senate, a Republican sponsored a
bill to allow parents of babies who died in the
delivery process to purchase a "certificate of
stillbirth." Democrats then attached a pro-abortion
amendment, causing an ugly debate.
Fetal death certificates are now issued for
stillbirths, which occur in about 1% of births.
Republican lawmaker Maldonado's legislation, known as
the Missing Angels Act, would allow the family to
purchase for $20 a certificate of stillbirth as well.
Baby-hating Democrats, fearing that a dead late-term
baby might be considered human, couldn't leave it
alone.

Dear Friends of Life,

This week's edition of the Johnson County Sun's front
page memo by Steve Rose,  "Will Morrison Charge
Tiller?" makes it clear Paul Morrison has spoken
directly to Rose and has laid out his plan to deal
with "the Tiller problem". 

This is what might have occurred during the meeting: 

1)  Morrison told Rose in a self-righteous tone that
after an exhausting six month investigation (not) and
thousands of hours spent by his office scrutinizing
the "scattered" materials in this case (not), that the
only charge Tiller should face is a technical
violation of Kansas medical abortion reporting law (oh
yeah - right!).  This was portrayed to Rose as a minor
medical records paperwork error.  Morrison revealed
that Tiller, will either immediately or shortly
thereafter, enter into a plea agreement that was
worked out with Tiller's attorneys over a week ago.
(I wonder if Morrison used the now infamous subpoenaed
medical records of the Alpha/Beta case that are now in
his possession to prove this medical records crime
against Tiller?  Heaven forbid the thought.  Morrison
-   what a hypocrite!) 

2)  Morrison told Rose that at a formal press
conference to be held next week he plans to announce
his decision to begin working with the legislature to
clarify these same reporting laws because they are not
clear.  He is certain that the legislature will
cooperate.  Why, many members of the state legislature
agree with his assessment - - as they attempted to
clean up these reporting laws during last legislative
session.  (The laws are clear as currently written.
They have no need to be clarified.)    

3)  Morrison informed Rose that as part of the plea
agreement he will also announce that no additional
investigation regarding any possible medical record
reporting violations in the years 04, 05, 06 and 07 to
date will be conducted against Tiller.   Morrison
explains that this will prevent any other prosecutor
in Kansas from ever prosecuting Tiller for a felony
reporting violation that might result if a second
conviction for this same reporting crime were ever
revealed.  This is the most important part of the plea
agreement and it is the only reason Tiller agreed to
plea to anything.  Morrison tells Rose that since the
Kansas media is strongly pro-choice it's not likely
this part of the plea will receive a lot of play.  But
even if he is criticized for his decision, it's a risk
he's willing to take given the great political
friendship that now exists between he and his buddy
George.

4)  Morrison proceeds to tell Rose that another great
thing this plea agreement is that it allows Tiller to
maintain that he is innocent of the charges.  Tiller
doesn't have to plead guilty.  Morrison explains that
he has agreed to accept "no contest" plea from Tiller.
 That means that Tiller will still be able to maintain
his innocence in the future.

5)  Morrison tells Rose that the absolute best thing
about his upcoming press conference is that he gets
the opportunity to blast Phill Kline. Morrison plans
to state that Kline's charges weren't grounded in law
so much as Kline's over zealous and blind desire to
prosecute Tiller for performing late-term abortions.
(The truth is that Morrison has never investigated
whether Tiller violated the illegal late term abortion
laws of Kansas during the past six months.  If
Morrison actually states he has conducted an
investigation he should be asked by the press and the
legislature to prove who he spoke to during the
investigation and what facts were gathered that
vindicated Tiller of Kline's charges.)  

6)  Morrison further informs Rose that he plans to
also say that some of the original charges Kline
leveled against Teller in the original complaint filed
in Sedgwick County were "ridiculous" and untrue. (If
Morrison actually says this - he should be asked to
prove this contention! - - Two independent district
court judges looked at these same allegations and
found probable cause to believe that evidence of 30
criminal acts had occurred.  And, that one of the
district judges even demanded that Tiller be forced to
answer the 30 criminal allegations in court.) 

7)  Finally, Morrison tells Rose that as a last grasp
measure he will throw in the fact that  a conviction
requires the higher standard of "beyond a reasonable
doubt" to secure a conviction at trial.  Probable
cause just isn't enough.  Morrison provides no
specifics to Rose to back up this statement and it's
simply accepted as truth.

Well - hypothetically that's what may have happened
during the recent communication between Morrison and
Rose. 

Morrison was allowed to proceed with this
prosecutorial sham because - despite being warned by
many pro-life advocates - the speaker of the house and
house leadership sat back and refused to turn up the
heat on Morrison.  They had every chance to do so.
Since no pressure was placed on Morrison to pursue the
original criminal complaint brought against Tiller by
Kline, Morrison was free to pursue his political
proclivities.  Meanwhile the legislature was busy -
hiding - as the speaker of the house made his side
deal with Morrison to let the charges die.    

If in the remaining days before Morrison actually
makes his formal announcement of this legal tragedy -
the speaker of the house and house leadership do not
change their failed course of inaction  - and begin to
bring pressure upon Morrison to rethink his "pardon"
of Tiller -  they will be as complicit as Morrison in
ignoring the laws of our state that are intended to
prevent viable babies from dying at Tiller's hands. 

The thought of the legislature attempting to make
amends with the pro-life community next year by
enacting some unnamed "new" abortion legislation - and
stating to pro-lifers that this new law would be
enforced - would be an insult to the pro-life
community.

 Baby-hating so-called Catholic Gov. Bilious Sebelius vetoed a proposal in
spending bill SB357 to require abortionist quacks to tell the state exactly
why they killed viable babies, falsely asserting the measure would open

Sex selection (79%), interference with career or education (72%), repairable

West Virginia abortions have declined by 14% since the
Right to Know bill, including a 24-hour wait, was
enacted in 2003. From 2004 to 2006, while an unborn
victims of violence bill was also approved, West
Virginia abortions declined from 1,945 to 1,674. West
Virginians for Life is targeting the state's 2

Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue on Wednesday signed into
law a bill that requires abortionist quacks to show a
mother considering an abortion an ultrasound of her
unborn baby if she wants to see what she is killing.
Passing HB147 as an extension of the 2005 Woman's

in the Legislature, Georgia is the 10th state to pass

Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry allowed pro-life bill SB 139
to become law on Wednesday by taking no action on the
legislation. The new law prohibits abortions in state
medical facilities or by state employees unless the

being found face-down in a toilet. Chad Fraser,

the county jail and 6 months probation, and forced to surrender his medical
license, for involuntary manslaughter in the botched late-term abortion

newborn face down in a Wal-Mart toilet has come forward, accompanied by

even though the nation allows the morning after

would reduce abortion rates, but the new figures
reveal the number of abortions committed there has

Scotland government reported 13,081 abortions in 2006,

has been released from the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. The

In a victory for Wisconsin Right to Life, federal
District Court Judge John Shabaz has granted a
permanent injunction against provisions of the
Wisconsin Code of Judicial Conduct that prohibit state
court judicial candidates from responding to a
questionnaire asking their views on legal and
political issues. Wisconsin judicial candidates, as in
Kansas, had refused to answer a questionnaire on their
views on pro-life issues, citing the judicial code, a
stand which has been repudiated by the U.S. Supreme
Court ruling in Republican Party of Minnesota v.
White, 536 US 765 (2002).
The option for direct election of Johnson County, KS
district judges will appear on the November, 2008
ballot in Johnson County - strongly opposed by Tiller,
Planned Parenthood, and their abortion lobby, we may
suppose.

Chicago paramedics were called to assist a woman they found bleeding
Wednesday, who denied being pregnant. An hour later at Mt. Sinai Hospital,
she admitted delivering a baby, but refused to say what she did with the
child. Paramedics and firefighters searched through garbage and clothing at
the residence, finally finding a newborn boy turning blue in a garbage bag
in a closet. They resuscitated the unresponsive boy, then rushed him to West
Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was stabilized, then
transferred to Children's Memorial Hospital.

Charges are pending against the mother.

The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, the company
that holds the patent on most embryonic stem cells,
the key to fast, huge profits in useless, unethical
ESCR, is challenging the federal government's
rejection of its patents.
WARF currently holds three patents that it says
essentially give it rights over all of the manufacture
of human life for destructive testing of stem cells in
the USofA. The U.S
Patent and Trademark Office issued a preliminary
decision in April and said it was considering throwing
out the patents. It called them an obvious work based
on previous research by other scientists.
WARF charged hundreds of thousands of dollars to
scientists and research universities to use the stem
cells covered under its patents, as much as $400,000
for a license, hence the demand to force taxpayer
funding, since private donors are not stupid enough to
put their money into such an unethical debacle.
One good thing, some exasperated clone-and-kill lab
goons are heading overseas, intending to work outside
the USofA.

Lequitta Higgins, 21, of Memphis, TN, two months
pregnant, was shot in the stomach while sitting on her
porch, her family claiming her to be an innocent
bystander of a nearby shooting. Higgins survived, but
her baby did not. Because the child would not have
been viable, no murder charge can be filed, should the
shooter be identified, because of Tennessee's
inadequate unborn victims of violence law.

Wisconsin's partial-birth abortion ban cannot be
legally enforced despite a recent U.S. Supreme Court
decision that upheld a federal prohibition, state
Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen wrote in a legal
opinion issued Thursday. The 2001 state ban was struck
down by a letist, activist, baby-hating federal judge,
based on the U.S. Supreme Court ruling against the
Nebraska ban. Chris Taylor, public policy director for
Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, said that
partial-birth abortion is rarely used, generally to
protect the health of a mother (=LIES and more LIES).
Actually, most partial-birth abortions were committed for convenience.

Kalita Thomas, 24, of Richmond, CA was charged with
felony child endangerment after she left her newborn
son out in the cold on February 23. She was sentenced
to five years probation and one year in county jail
after she pleaded no contest. Police did not have
enough evidence to prove that Thomas planned to kill
her baby through exposure to the cold.
The baby, found by a woman walking her dog about 2
hours after being abandoned, was released into foster
care after 10 days' hospital treatment.

Japan has been roiled in recent weeks by a string of
infant and child-abandonment cases that came amid an
outbreak of violent crime. Workers clearing a vacated
apartment in northern Japan Thursday found a dead
newborn girl wrapped in a garbage bag, inside a
portable ice chest. Earlier this month, a couple in
western Japan were arrested after their 1-year-old
son's body was found wrapped in a plastic bag and
dumped in a gutter. The baby died after his parents
allegedly left him in the baggage hold of a motorbike
while they gambled at a pachinko pinball parlor. Last
week, a newborn girl was found abandoned in the
garbage pickup area at a Tokyo-area apartment
building, suffering from hypothermia, and was
hospitalized

Dear Friends of Life,

Five courageous Kansas legislators demonstrated their
commitment to defending the unborn by submitting their
resignations to the House Speaker Melvin Neufeld on
the morning of Sine Die. They desperately tried to
reason with the speaker, but at the vary least they
drew the line in the sand with their unprecedented
resignations.

I wish to commend these five legislators for standing
together for the babies!

Up till now, I have been reluctantly willing to extend
to the House Speaker the benefit of the doubt when he
recently requested "thirty to forty more days" to
execute his plan (a time period that expires about mid
to late June).

Here are my concerns:

JUDICIAL FAILURE: A Wichita district attorney and a
traffic judge blocked a standing attorney general's
charges against George Tiller with no legal basis to
stand on.

JUDICIAL COVER-UP: The traffic judge who had received
campaign contributions from Tiller's attorney and the
district attorney was charged with ethical violations
for not removing himself from the case. These
complaints were dismissed because he claimed that he
did not look at his own campaign's reports.

JUDICIAL FAILURE: Two judges have found probable cause
to believe that crimes have been committed. The latest
judge found the evidence of criminal activity was
directly linked to Tiller. All the evidence to support
that finding was filed with original court case and
has been available directly to the Attorney General
since he was sworn into office.

The allegations claim that Dr. Tiller performed
abortions for temporary mental health concerns.
Considering the fact that Carla Stovall, who is
pro-choice, stated in an AG's opinion that temporary
mental health concerns did not justify a late-term
abortion on a viable fetus - do not the allegations
indicate that Tiller violated the law?

Does the complaint not list the actual diagnosis
provided for the abortions? If so, why has Paul
Morrison not filed charges? Why did Morrison dismiss
the appeal that he promised not to interfere with?

JUDICIAL COVER-UP: Attorney General Paul Morrison
fired the Democrat special prosecutor and then has
stalled time and again to make a conclusive statement
regarding the 30 charges. Let's not forget the huge
campaign debt that Morrison has to Tiller and Planned
Parenthood.

LEGISLATIVE INACTION: After the Federal and State
Affairs committee voted 12-8 to a approve a resolution
designed to force Morrison to reinstate all 30 charge
counts against Tiller, Speaker Melvin Neufeld
"forbade" a vote on the floor (according to Tim
Carpenter of the Capital-Journal 6-1-07).

LEGISLATIVE INACTION: Speaker Neufeld thus far refused
to allow the Federal and State Affairs or the
Appropriations Committees to have subpoena power to
investigate these judicial failures. "Witch hunts" is
how Neufeld recently characterized the process of the
legislative branch holding the judicial branch
accountable for enforcing the law.

LEGISLATIVE LEADERSHIP PROMISES: Speaker Melvin
Neufeld, the Kansas House Speaker and others in House
Leadership are attempting to buy themselves some time
by promising a coming announcement of new initiatives
in the battle against abortion. The speaker indicated
to me along with others that he needed another thirty
to forty days to execute his plan.  He made this
"promise" in mid-May and now his time has about run.

IS THIS NOT A CONTRADICTION?  Is Speaker Neufeld
executing a plan as promised? Why would a reasonable
person think that the debt that Paul Morrison owes to
Tiller would allow him to send Tiller to prison? Why
would Paul Morrison not just slap Tiller's hand, fine
him a few dollars and seal the damning evidence that
no Attorney General before Phill Kline has ever been
able to access? Has Neufeld ever had any intentions of
holding Tiller accountable for his crimes? Federal and
State Affairs Committee Chair, Arlen Siegfried,
admitted to an Olathe News reporter on May 23rd, "The
committee discussed early in the session whether they
should pursue an investigation of Tiller, but that
House leadership decided to leave the matter in
Morrison's hands."

IS THIS NOT OBVIOUS? Paul Morrison is no more inclined
to enforce the law than any of the other Tiller bought
political cronies that have covered for him to date.

It is time to place principle and the rule of law (in
opposition to the Tiller killing machine) above
politics and just simply do the right thing!

There are a lot of unanswered questions. The mid to
late June extension for Speaker Neufeld's plan is fast
approaching.
 
As a result, every pro-life advocate, every pro-life
citizen of this state now anxiously awaits the fruit
that will come from the Speaker's investigative and
legislative efforts during the next few weeks.  As
always, it is our responsibility to monitor the
progress of our public officials as they represent our
best interests and to hold them up in prayer.
