Laquishia D. Starr, 21, of Wichita, KS was pronounced dead Saturday morning
at Wesley Medical Center, as a result of the gunshots of April 25. Her
infant son, who was delivered at 30 weeks as a result of his mother's
wounds, but is not protected by Alexa's Law, remains in critical condition.
Starr's 21-year-old boyfriend, also shot, was released from hospital
treatment.
Police identified Steven S. Novotny, 28, as a suspect. He is black man who
is 5 feet 5 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes, and weighs about
150 pounds, with a mustache and sideburns. Anyone with information is asked
to call police homicide section at 316-268-4181.
Pray hard for Laquishia Starr's motherless child, and for justice to return
to Kansas.

Faris-Cifelli, founder of Garden of Angels in Calimesa, CA said she doesn't
see a safe abandonment time limit is a major factor in attempting to reduce
the number of abandoned babies who die. She said of the 78 babies buried in
Garden of Angels, about 90 to 95% were found within 24 hours of birth. The
California State Association of Counties is pushing a compromise that would
give the parent one week to surrender the baby, which would still allow for
concerns about child abuse prosecutions. Assemblyman Alberto Torrico,

states have done.
Since 2001, 146 babies have been found abandoned and alive statewide; 27

The Kansas Court of Appeals last week upheld the 2005 revocation of the
medical license of former Kansas City, KS abortionist quack Krishna Rajanna.
BOHA had yanked Rajanna's license after his failure to correct conditions

refrigerator and carpeting in a surgical area. The quack argued that none of
his victims filed complaints about the illegal conditions, and that
pro-lifers wanted his abortion mill shut down.

Pro-lifers were demonstrating in Waco, TX Sunday, as on the first Sunday of

and sprayed four people with black liquid, possibly ink and water. A
70-year-old woman was sprayed in the face. Waco police have made no arrests,
citing a lack of serious bodily injury, although they (ho, hum) identified

description and license number provided by the pro-lifers. Police eventually
(ho, hum) plan to file misdemeanor assault charges.
Better get those concealed carry permits ready. If police and FBI refuse to

In Santa Monica, CA, a counselor at the UCLA student
